Important Information
Check-in anytime during regular hours, check-out time is 1:00 pm or before. Please think of the kennel like a hotel room. We request that departures happen before 1:00 so that we have enough time to clean the rooms for our new guests.
Dogs staying with us must have a current canine distemper vaccine (D/H/L/P). We recommend the optional bordetella vaccine and rabies as well. Please bring documents with you when you check in.
Cats staying with us must have a current feline distemper vaccine (F/V/R/C/P). Please bring documents with you when you check in.
While staying at Puppy Love, our policy is to remove collars of any kind, unless otherwise instructed by pet owner. Some exceptions may apply.
We offer a 10% discount on long term lodging of 14 days or more if prepaid upon check in. Don’t want to leave the bird, turtle or guinea pig at home? No problem, we can accommodate most small pets as well.
Grooming/Baths
Puppy Love and the Cat’s Meow offers full grooming services for your pet during their stay or between stays. We offer a 10% discount on a bath or complete grooming with a minimum 5 day stay. Please take advantage of this special; your pet will love it!
Before Boarding
If this is a first time “holiday” for your pet please arrive early in the day so they have time to settle in, freshen up and meet our staff before retiring. You are responsible for providing verification of current vaccinations prior to check in.
Diet & Medication
- $3.00 per day when given with food
- $2.75 per unit for other medications when administered outside of feeding time
- $7.25 per day for diabetic pets requiring insulin injections
Personal Items
Emergency or Illness
Should your pet require the services of a veterinarian during their stay, we will first try to arrange for your designated vet. If this is not possible, we will use our veterinarian. All expenses, including transportation, will be the owners responsibility.
After Boarding
After your pets return home they may be excited and tend to overeat, over drink or play excessively. This is a normal reaction, especially for those pets that have not been boarded many times. Please limit their intake and exercise for a few hours so as not to cause vomiting or diarrhea. Some pets may also sleep a lot upon their return home, this is also normal after an exciting and busy holiday.
