FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I come by for a tour of the facilities?

Absolutely. You're welcome to come down for a tour any day between 11:00am and 4:00pm. Those hours are most ideal, but if that doesn't work for you, then we can accommodate your schedule as well.

What type of boarding do you offer?

Puppy Love is exclusively an individual boarding facility. Whether indoors or playing outside, dogs and cats from different families are never mixed in order to reduce stress and to eliminate the possibility of injury due to fighting or roughhousing.

Can I board my pets other than my dog and cat?

If you don’t want to leave the bird, turtle or guinea pig at home, it's no problem as we can accommodate most small pets - just let us know in your booking request.

Why is my pet eating or drinking a lot more after returning home?

After your pets return home they may be excited and tend to overeat, over drink, or play excessively. This is a normal reaction, especially for those pets that have not been boarded many times. Please limit their intake and exercise for a few hours so as not to cause vomiting or diarrhea. Some pets may also sleep a lot upon their return home, this is also normal after an exciting and busy holiday.

Is there anything I should know before boarding my pet?

Yes, we have some important information that we recommend reading prior to boarding. Please see our Boarding Information page.
